  • Brown Grand Opera House, Inc.

    Thanks to grant funding from the community foundation, Missoula Children's Theatre was able to provide the opportunity for Cloud County youth to participate in a theatre summer program and perform a play/musical to the community.

  • Smoky Hills Public Television

    "We appreciate the community partners recognizing that books in the home are making a profound impact on the low income families we serve," said Kathy Dawson, Head Start Literacy Coordinator.

    A grant from the community foundation provided three books to each of the 63 children enrolled in the Early Head Start and Head Start programs in Cloud County.

  • The Broadway Plaza

    Fifty families and children received a special Usborne book, "Big Book of Big Trucks," at the 2019 Broadway Plaza "Touch-a-Truck" event.

    The books allow children to continue their learning at home after being able to see and touch the big trucks in person.

  • Ducks Unlimited

    A Sieze the Moment grant helped Quentin Affolter, age 6, received a lifetime hunting license from Cloud County Ducks Unlimited.

    Ducks Unlimited hopes that this will encourage youth to not only enjoy the outdoors but to also be mindful of wildlife conservation.

  • City of Glasco

    The City of Glasco received a $7,500 grant from the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund to start a community recreation program.

    In the first year, 15 recreational/educational events were implemented including golf, harmonica lessons and a movie night.
