Concordia Wesleyan Church receives a $2,000 grant!
The Concordia Wesleyan Church received a $2,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Cloud County to help them bring back the annual Easter Egg Event.

The Community Foundation for Cloud County recently awarded a total of $10,300 in grants to two area organizations. The November grants were funded through the Leonard and Dorothy Swenson Fund, the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, and the Youth Activity Fund.

“This event would not have been possible without the grant funds we received. This year we had vendors that donated to the children attending giving them tokens as prizes for the children’s games. At one point in the afternoon we handed out all of the tokens at once, and the children ran straight to the vendor area. The vendors were bombarded with dozens of children cashing in their tokens. The smiles on the children’s faces as they ran toward the vendor area made the volunteers’ day!” - Jessica Pressler

The funding we have received from the Community Foundation has made a significant impact on the success of the Project SEARCH program and in the lives of the interns, by giving them the tools they need to prepare them for their internships at North Central Kansas Medical Center.
