Field of Interest Funds

Field of Interest Funds allow donors to designate a specific cause or geographic area for grant making without having to name a specific organization. Grants are made through an application process administered by the Foundation and/or with a special advisory group with expertise in the field of interest.

Cloud County Economic Development Fund
The purpose of the Cloud County Economic Development Fund is to support projects or programs which support positive, progressive economic or community development in Cloud County, and are charitable, educational, or scientific in nature.

Cloud County Public Health Fund 
This is a public health fund formed as a result of participating in the Kansas Health Foundation’s GROW II program. Like the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Cloud County, it promotes the health and well-being of individuals and communities in Cloud County through encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors and environments.

Dane G. Hansen Foundation Community Grant Fund*
This fund was established by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation to fund grants in Cloud County that address community beautification, education, environment, health & human service and inter-generational projects/programs.

Gelvin-Ingersoll Medical Education Fund
The purpose of the Gelvin-Ingersoll Medical Education Fund is to support medical education activities and/or scholarships to students studying in the medical related field that are charitable, educational or scientific in nature.

Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Cloud County
This is a public health fund formed as a result of participating in the Kansas Health Foundation’s GROW II program. Like the Cloud County Public Health Fund, it promotes the health and well-being of individuals and communities in Cloud County through encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors and environments.

Youth Activity Fund
The Youth Activity Fund supports youth activities in Cloud County that are charitable, educational, or scientific in nature. Grants are considered for all school sponsored and non-school sponsored youth activities with emphasis on academics and the arts but not excluding athletics.

Community Foundation for Cloud County Awards Grants The Community Foundation for Cloud County (CFCC) grants committee met October 16, 2020  and ratified or awarded the following grants totaling $37,213: Seize the Moment Fund - a $490 grant to USD # 333 for PAUSE PAWS speaker series. Full Court Press for Progress Fund -  a $2,751.71 grant and a $2,688.62 grant  to the City of Concordia to assist with the costs of redoing the tennis courts, basketball courts and build two pickleball courts. Community foundation accepting scholarship applications

CONCORDIA, Kan.―The Community Foundation for Cloud County is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2021-2022 school year. This year, over $20,000 is available to area students through the foundation’s eight scholarship funds: C.
