Grant Recipient - Laundry Love

We LOVE that a grant from the Community Foundation for Cloud County is helping OCCK make life better for so many individuals and families in Cloud County.

OCCK Inc. partnered with LaundryLove.org in February of 2025 to bring the Laundry Love program to Concordia. Laundry Love is a nationwide organization that offers complimentary laundry services at over 250 sites throughout the United States. So far OCCK, Inc. has assisted with over 350 loads of laundry, averaging approximately 15-20 loads per session for anyone in the community. The primary objective of Laundry Love is to provide resources to people in rural Kansas. Residents have access to free washers, dryers and detergent and can bring any clothing items, including work or school uniforms, undergarments, and other essentials. This program is free and accessible to anyone. Clean goes beyond hygiene, it’s about dignity, confidence, and belonging.

OCCK Inc. aims to help North Central Kansas residents remove barriers to independence. By addressing the need for clean clothing, Laundry Love assists with the focus on empowering residents to pursue employment and engage with their community.
