GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS:
Students qualifying to graduate or are a graduate from a Cloud County or Washington County, Kansas, high school

CRITERIA:

  • Applicants shall be in good standing  to graduate or are a graduate of a Cloud County or Washington County high school
  • Applicants shall be attending a Kansas accredited post-secondary school including a college, university, technical or vocational school
  • Applicants shall be majoring in a medical field (preference nursing), an education field (preference teaching), or a recognized trade field (preference cosmetology
  • Applicants shall not have been salutatorian or valedictorian of their high school class            

DEADLINE:
March 1

RENEWALS:
Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for renewal by meeting the above criteria

Scholarship recipients announced

The Community Foundation for Cloud has awarded over $14,000 in scholarships to area students for the upcoming academic year. The Carl Cunningham Rotary Scholarship for for seniors graduating from Concordia High School. Emily Daniels, Concordia, received a $650 scholarship, and Rope Dorman, Concordia, received a $1,150 scholarship. The Carol Puckett Memorial Scholarship for for graduates of a Cloud County high school pursuing an education major. Adrianna Michaud, Concordia, received a $1,000 scholarship.
