Community Foundation Awards Grants

CFCC AWARDS GRANTS

The Community Foundation for Cloud County (CFCC) grants committee met August 18, 2020 and awarded the following grants totaling $34,605.

Impact Fund for Cloud County– a $10,000 grant to the Cloud County Health Center for the 2nd installment on our new hospital pledge.

Seize the Moment Fund- a$48 grant to the CFCC Administrative Fund as a honorarium for Mari Detrixhe’s service on the Board;  a $81 grant  to the CFCC Administrative Fund as a honorarium for Harley Adams’s service on the Board; a $500 grant to Cloud County Ducks Unlimited for a lifetime youth hunting/fishing license  and a $500 grant to the City of Concordia for free books to give away at the 2020 Touch -a-Truck event.

Blosser Foundation Donor Advised Fund – a $10,000 grant to the Cloud County Health Center for the 2nd installment on their new hospital pledge.

Gelvin-Ingersoll Medical Education Fund- a $2,000 grant to the Cloud County Health Center for the 2nd installment on their new hospital pledge.

Kansas Health Foundation Operating Fund for Cloud County- a $7,976 grant transferring the ‘Available to Spend Amount” to the CFCC Administrative Fund.

Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund– a $1,500 grant to the Concordia First United Methodist Church to assist with the layette sets for newborns in Cloud County and a $2,000 grant to Kansas Food Bank for the 2000-2021 Food 4 Kids Cloud County Program for weekend food supplies for kids.

The Community Foundation for Cloud County considers grant applications on a monthly basis the following month except for June of each year.
