Scholarship recipients announced

The Community Foundation for Cloud has awarded over $14,000 in scholarships to area students for the upcoming academic year.

  • The Carl Cunningham Rotary Scholarship for for seniors graduating from Concordia High School. Emily Daniels, Concordia, received a $650 scholarship, and Rope Dorman, Concordia, received a $1,150 scholarship.
  • The Carol Puckett Memorial Scholarship for for graduates of a Cloud County high school pursuing an education major. Adrianna Michaud, Concordia, received a $1,000 scholarship.
  • The CF Sunshine Scholarship for for seniors graduating from or graduates of a Cloud County or Washington County high school majoring in a medical, education or recognized trade field. Aundrea Bruna, Hanover, Emily Coffman, Agenda, and Katherine Kearn, Concordia, each received a $550 scholarship.
  • The Pauline and Richard A. Cook Family Scholarship for for North-Central Kansas college sophomores attending Cloud County Community College, fort Hays State University, Kansas State University or the University of Kansas. The following students each received a $1,000 scholarship: Laci Cyr, Clyde; Jennifer Boley, Concordia; Braden Brownell, Concordia; Robin Daniels, Concordia; Cierra Kahrs, Clifton; and Shaylea Lawson, Clyde.
  • The Wayne and Alberta Neel Scholarship for for college sophomores or above who are graduates of a Cloud County high school. The following students each received a $1,000 scholarship: Jordan Eshbaugh, Topeka; Addison Johnson, Concordia; Olivia Nelson, Concordia; and Mallory Thompson, Concordia.
  • The Wendy Ann Koch Memorial Scholarship for for graduating seniors from Clifton-Clyde High School. Lori Leiszler, Clifton, received a $500 scholarship.
